Quackly is operated by Michael Toursarkissian and Simon Dekrmnjian (“Quackly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Quackly mobile application, Quackly website, waitlist, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
For privacy questions, account-deletion requests, or other privacy requests, contact us at:
1. What Quackly Does
Quackly is a focus and productivity app that helps users complete focus sessions, build streaks, earn rewards, progress through levels, and participate in Friends, School, and Global leaderboards.
Quackly is not a medical, mental-health, emergency, diagnostic, or treatment service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information reasonably necessary to provide Quackly, maintain its security, operate its account and progression features, and comply with applicable law.
A. Account and Sign-In Information
When you create or access a Quackly account, we may collect:
- A unique Quackly account or user ID;
- Your display name or username;
- Your chosen built-in avatar or cosmetic selection;

- An Apple private relay email address, if you choose Sign in with Apple and Apple provides one;
- Your sign-in provider, such as Apple or Google;
- Authentication information needed to sign you in and maintain account security;
- Account creation date and recent sign-in activity.
We use this information to create and secure your account, save your progress, allow you to access Quackly across devices, provide leaderboards, and respond to account-related support requests.
B. Focus Session, Progress, and Reward Information
To provide Quackly’s core focus and progression features, we may collect and store:
- Focus-session history;
- Session date, duration, completion status, and related session outcomes;
- XP, levels, streaks, rank, badges, rewards, unlocks, and claims;
- In-app mailbox, announcement, reward, or claim status, such as whether an item was delivered, opened, read, or claimed;
- Preferences and settings related to Quackly features.
We use this information to save and sync focus history across devices, calculate progress, award XP and rewards, maintain streaks, display account statistics, and operate Quackly’s progression systems.

Quackly offers Friends, School, and Global leaderboard experiences.
When you use these features, information that may be visible to other Quackly users includes:
- Your display name or username;
- Your built-in avatar or cosmetic selection;
- Your level, XP, rank, streak, and leaderboard position;
- Other progression information that Quackly makes visible within the leaderboard.
For Friends Leaderboards, we may store friend relationships, friend requests, or other connection information needed to determine which users appear in your leaderboard.
For School Leaderboards, we may process the school identifier or school affiliation you provide or select in order to place you in the appropriate School Leaderboard.
We do not display your email address, sign-in-provider information, focus-session history, or detailed App Blocker activity to other users through leaderboards.
Please do not use your legal name, address, phone number, email address, school ID number, workplace, or other sensitive personal information as your display name.
D. Waitlist and Website Information
If you join the Quackly waitlist or contact us through the Quackly website, we collect the information you submit, such as your email address and any message you choose to send.
We use waitlist information to manage the waitlist, send Quackly-related updates, respond to you, and maintain our records. You may unsubscribe from non-essential waitlist emails at any time.
E. Subscription and Purchase Information
If you purchase Quackly Premium or another paid digital feature through Apple’s App Store, Apple processes the payment.

- Product or subscription identifier;
- Subscription entitlement or access status;
- Transaction or purchase reference information;
- Renewal, expiration, cancellation, restoration, or refund status, where available.

If you enable notifications, we may process:
- A device-specific push-notification token;
- Notification preferences; and
- Notification content needed to send reminders, focus-session updates, streak reminders, rewards, or account-related notices.
You may disable notifications at any time through Quackly settings or your device settings.

- Information related to failed sign-in attempts, suspected abuse, fraud prevention, or service reliability.
We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and protect Quackly.

- Complete installed-app lists;
- App or category selection tokens;

- Create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you, where permitted by law.
We do not use personal information for cross-app behavioral advertising.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share information only as described below.
A. Supabase
We use Supabase to provide account authentication, database hosting, backend infrastructure, and related services for Quackly.
Supabase may process information necessary to provide these services, including account identifiers, authentication information, profile information, focus-session summaries, progression data, reward and claim records, leaderboard-related data, and limited technical or security information.

Apple processes these services under its own privacy practices. We receive only the information necessary to provide Quackly functionality, such as authentication information, subscription entitlement information, transaction status, or a push-notification token.
C. Google
If you choose Google Sign-In, Google processes your sign-in request and may provide Quackly with information necessary to create or access your account, such as an account identifier, display name, or email address, depending on the information you authorize and Google makes available.
Google processes its services under its own privacy practices.
D. Other Quackly Users
When you participate in Friends, School, or Global leaderboards, your display name, built-in avatar, level, XP, rank, streak, and leaderboard position may be visible to other users who can access that leaderboard.
E. Legal, Safety, and Business Transfers
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Quackly, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
In general:
- Account, profile, focus-session, progression, reward, claim, and leaderboard information is retained while your account remains active.
- Waitlist information is retained until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or it is no longer needed for waitlist purposes.
- Push-notification tokens are retained until they become invalid, you disable notifications, or they are no longer needed.
- When you request deletion of your Quackly account, we will delete or anonymize applicable personal information from our active systems within 30 days, except where limited retention is necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, taxes, accounting, chargebacks, or dispute resolution.
- Copies of information may remain temporarily in backup systems until they are overwritten or removed under our backup procedures. Backup copies are not used to restore your account for ordinary use after account deletion.
8. Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your Quackly account and associated personal information in either of the following ways:
- In the Quackly app: Settings → Account → Delete Account
- On our website: https://quacklyapp.com/delete-account

When your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize applicable account information, profile information, focus-session history, progression data, claims, in-app mailbox records, friend-related data, and other associated personal information within 30 days, subject to the retention exceptions described in this Policy.
Deleting your Quackly account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. To stop future charges, you must cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. You may continue to have access to Premium until the end of your paid billing period, subject to Apple’s terms.
Deleting your Quackly account does not delete your Apple Account, Google Account, or information that Apple or Google independently retain under their own policies.
